Okay, I literally had to do a double take when I saw the news: Niko Moon is performing in Downtown Perrysburg this summer. No joke—I had just watched his cover of “Fishin’ in the Dark” by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and not even a day later, BAM—he’s on the lineup right here in Northwest Ohio.
I’m absolutely going to this.

If you’ve somehow missed the buzz, Niko Moon (real name Nicholas Cowan) is a country-pop artist with legit songwriting chops. He’s written for big names like:

He was also part of the group Sir Rosevelt with Zac Brown and Ben Simonetti. So yeah, the guy knows how to craft a hit.
